Mik a feladatai egy nővérnek Angliában?
Az ápoló legfontosabb feladata asszisztenciát nyújtani az orvosoknak és az ápolói csapatnak, ezzel elősegítve a betegek gyógyulását. Feladatai, közé tartozik még a betegek adatainak felvétele, hőmérőzés, EKG felhelyezés, testsúlymérés, BMI meghatározás, glukóztolerancia vizsgálat, illetve a betegek gyógyszerezése.

Milyen tapasztalatokra van szüksége?
Hogy megfeleljen erre a pozícióra szüksége, van a következő dolgokra:
Felsőfokú ápolói végzetség. Azoknak, akik 2004 előtt szerezték a diplomájukat szükségük, van 3 év folyamatos kórházi gyakorlatra az elmúlt 5 évben, ahhoz, hogy megkapják a kamarai tagságot. A 2004 után diplomázottak automatikusan megkapják.

Purpose: To assist the GPs and practice nurse team in the service delivery and management of patients with specified long term conditions, by providing high quality evidence based care to meet the health and social care needs of the practice population.
Responsible to: Senior practice nurse, practice manager and, ultimately, the GP Partners.

Job Summary
The post holder undertakes roles and duties delegated by the practice nurse team leader or a suitably qualified regulated professional. Working within the boundaries set out by the regulated professional, the scope of the role enables the post holder to make a limited assessment of patient need and act upon their assessment. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients with specified long term conditions by providing quality evidence based care. The post holder will follow practice policy and procedures and provide supervision to more junior staff.

Job summary
The post holder is responsible for the delivery of basic practice nursing services care to the practice population. Supported by senior nurses within the practice, they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role, focusing upon supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring of long-term conditions, health prevention and screening activities. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
Key responsibilities
Clinical practice
• Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate programmes to promote health and well-being, and prevent
adverse effects on health and well-being
• Implement and evaluate individual treatment plans for patients with a known long-term condition
• Identify, and manage as appropriate, treatment plans for patients at risk of developing a long-term condition
• Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist the patient in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care
